From Principles to Practice: Clinical Reasoning in Auditory Verbal Therapy
A new course for professionals who want to move from knowing AVT principles to thinking clinically.
Course Overview
It’s one thing to know the principles of AVT. It’s another (more difficult!) thing to apply them to the beautiful, messy reality of actual children and families. What we see on our caseloads rarely lines up perfectly with what is taught in our textbooks. What’s a clinician to do?
This is where clinical reasoning comes in. This course is designed to help professionals strengthen the connection between what they know and how they think, analyze, and respond to actual clinical cases.
I’ve spent years teaching AVT principles, mentoring professionals, and thinking about what separates novice clinicians from experts whose practice feels easy, thoughtful, and fluent.
This course is my attempt to make the process more explicit.
